Pros:
His name is NOT Inigo Montoya
Can defend you against ROUS's
Can swordfight with both hands
Has built up an immunity to poison
Answers your every request with "As you wish"
Cons:
Is a pirate by trade (when he's not a farmboy)
Is always fighting for his life, and usually yours
Has some strange friends, most of whom are ex-enemies
Will die by torture---no, inconceivable!

oh, this is a good one. i laughed at seeing this one. i'd marry wesley. he's fun, somewhat serious, silly, and can recover from being mostly dead.
Hey there...I just wanted to say that a while back you asked me to particpate in this blog and I SOOOOO WANT TO!!!!!!!! I have never deleted that e-mail from you out of my inbox because I don't want to forget! I PROMISE I will be back sometime SOON to dish on all your Men!! Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring that or had forgotten!! I'm just saving it for a time when I have TIME! I don't want to be rushed---I know it's gonna be good!! :o)
this was undoubtably one of rachel's favourite movies and characters. so i have seen this over and over again.
i know he can fight and recover from so many things. but i will have to say dump.
he still seems a little fluffy to me especially in tights.
Groovy: Thanks for the comment! Your last line made me laugh...I remember that!!
J: No worries! Whenever you can, whatever you can. Just enjoy! Your comments are always welcome and your input always appreciated!
Marmee: Dump? I don't know if I could dump a man who always answered me with "As you wish."
It is always "as you wish" in the beginning, when the fire is raging and the heart is yearning, and the sparks are flying all over the place. "Anything you want to talk about, dear?", "What would YOU like to do?", "What is your favorite flower - food - restaurant - music?" As the King of Siam liked to say "etc, etc, etc"!
No wonder movies can last forever - they can take you there again & again! It is a totally fantasy land, where the hero remains a hero and the heroine continues to gush romantic ad infinitum! If only reality could be just a little more like our dreams! But, alas, we can only play 'pretend' so long! We up and marry the man, and he becomes simply our husband, full of fault and frailty, forgetting our birthday, our favorite perfume, and our desire for a little romance with our sex life. Where, oh where, is Prince Charming then? That's right, only at the movies or in the pages of a book. So dream on, ladies, about the handsome man who only wants to please you and do "as you wish". He will forever be a figment of your imagination, found only in the make believe of an author or film director. But, we can still wish upon a star or throw a coin in a fountain or look online for a man worth marrying! So have fun fantasizing!
my thought were along the line that dreamlady wrote. so i feel like it would only last a brief time before it would become
"huh? what'd you say dear?"
Okay, then, we interrupt regularly scheduled programming to ask a serious question (then we'll get back to the make-believe!)...
Dreamlady, Marmee, whomever...
Is it better to have our heart's desire for a little time (and eventually lose it--btw, it's still up for debate whether or not losing it is inevitable), or is it better to never have these romantic dreams since having them not come true often proves painful?????
definitely, dream, dream, dream!
i did not say it would always wane but i do think so in the case of this man. also it seems to me things come in cycles. i have seen the same man be different things at differents times in life. if you're blessed to have a man that loves Christ then most likely you have a man that is in love with you. but there are levels of romance that come with long term relationships.
i would rather have loved and lost than to never have loved before!
